A waiter works in the hospitality industry and is responsible for serving food and drinks to customers in a restaurant or cafe. 

Their primary job is to take orders from customers, serve food, and make sure their dining experience is pleasant and enjoyable. They are also responsible for answering customers‘ questions about the menu, making recommendations, and handling payments.

Waiters must also have good knowledge of food and beverage service, be soft-spoken and well-groomed, and be able to work under pressure.
